ABOUT ME

We are a fun-loving, hard-working, outgoing couple who work 6 months of the year flying fishermen into remote lakes only accessible by floatplane. We are very active and love sports and the outdoors. When we are not traveling during our off season we are enjoying the Canadian winters by skiing, snowmobiling and ice fishing. We love to laugh and always seek a new adventure in life. We cherish time spent with family and friends and make the most of every day. We respect the natural environment and look forward to visiting landscapes worldwide. On the homefront, we enjoy hearty, homecooked meals and a solid 8 hours of snoozing! We are quiet people and keep our house clean and tidy.

PHILOSOPHY

We always strive for excellence and to be the best we can be. Staying positive will allow good things to happen. We keep life in perspective while never losing sight of our goals. We all know life is too short, so we choose to make the best of it. Opportunity is something we seldomly pass up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is a new experience for us! It was recommended by a friend who's most memorable travel experiences were Couchsurfing! We hope to meet and learn from many new people through this wonderful network of Couchsurfers!

Interests

We share similar interests with a love for flying, traveling, board games and many sports including baseball, hockey/skating, skiing, fishing, swimming, volleyball and badminton. Joel enjoys playing the guitar, skydiving and learning about WWII history while I, Emily love to coach and spend time on my family's ginseng farm.
