About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world, one person at a time

ABOUT ME

Trustworthy, friendly, sociable, quirky, patient, reliable. I am attached at the hip to my laptop. I like to meet people willing to live and experience things that excite and scare them at the same time.
Right about now you are likely looking for a photo. I have linked this account to Facebook so with a bit of digging you can find one. I haven't taken a good picture in years so I don't post many. Am I a gargoyle, nope, just don't find them flattering since I'm losing my hair, graying a bit and I'm not a chiseled Greek god or a slave to fashion or bling, but if you've read this far, you probably aren't superficial enough to care how I look anyway.

PHILOSOPHY

Music, philosophizing, writing, contemplating, creating, laughter and above all, breathing. Life: Well, the alternative is not much better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel the Midwest for business and would like to meet people along the way....my biz and, hopefully, CS afford me this opportunity.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still pending. I unofficially Couchsurf in St. Louis and Columbus, but they are not registered members just kind people I've met and now crash with when I'm in town. They have become part of my extended family.

Interests

Teaching, discussing and traveling for biz. MTG.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any music (Not a big CW/Blues fan, though). Books: Love audio-books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw the Niagara Falls as a youth. Amazing. The harnessed power of nature. Traveled to Puerto Rico and, despite the heat, fell in love with the country.

Teach, Learn, Share

My boss called this: "See one, Do one, Teach one"...an old Medical mantra. I believe in Karma. I believe in the goodness of humankind and I believe we can all learn something from someone else if we search hard enough. Thus my talents are splayed out for all the world to see, if they only have the eyes to behold them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I travel around the country as a roving vendor of Anime and collectibles. Have stories to share and love great storytellers.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Puerto Rico, United States, Virgin Islands, U.S.

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
