We enjoy traveling, maintaining our veggie garden, hiking and just being outdoors. Our goal since moving here is to grow and preserve enough food from our garden to last through winter. We are interested in learning to use herbs medicinally.

PHILOSOPHY

We live on this earth therefore it is our responsibility to care for and protect our natural resources. We want future generations to be able to enjoy a clean environment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We stayed with a Maori couple. They had a caravan on the beach. No modern conveniences just beautiful sunrises, star filled nights and the sound of the water. After they got to know us they invited us to dinner. The next day they took us to their wharenui. After we learned the proper procedure we were allowed to go in. It is very unusual for outsiders to be invited to the Maori's place of worship.
