CURRENT MISSION

The current project is to travel the country in my 100mpg car and have conversations about oil consumption, sustainability, and how to abandon fear and selfishness for the common good.

ABOUT ME

It's not really about me. I don't think I'd choose or not choose a couch because I didn't like a profile. Travel is about serendipity, finding out what's around the next turn. When we meet someone while on the road and they invite you to sleep at their place we would generally just accept the hospitality.

Interests

Iceboating, sailing, history, life. I like four way stop sign intersections because it allows us the chance to be kind, gracious, and follow the rules.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In spite of traveling the world and meeting many wonderful people, having and raising children is by far the most amazing, satisfying and challenging thing I will have ever done. Most other life experiences don't even come close.
