ABOUT ME

Hiya, I am a Dutch artist now living and working in Edinburgh. I came here to do a postgraduate degree that has something to with art and landscape and decided to stick around Scotland because I just love the landscape and history of this place.
I do design work with the skills I inherited from a past life as a 3d artist/animator for computer games. In the past years I have also worked as an art director, postman, sales assistant, barista, nude model, open air market coordinator, joiner, barista trainer.(i'm a gemini)

PHILOSOPHY

I have a keen interest in the philosophy of permaculture, even if I am not much of a gardener I try to apply this system of thought to my life, to produce less waste and to use what resources I have, beit social, financial etc as efficiently as possible.

I have a keen interest in Nonviolent Communication and and other modes of communication stemming from Carl Rogers' work. I've been quite involved in community building in recent years although currently taking a step back to re-find my own purpose. Mostly trying to rekindle my writing practice. And spending as much time as I can up in the Highlands, on a bike with a tent strapped to it.

After a bit of a hiatus I am now actively hosting again.

As a sidenote. I shared this profile with my ex Jessica for a while and some references refer to her. I'm not really sure how to remove them so please ignore them for the moment.
