About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel to the cradle of civilization! Part 2

ABOUT ME

I'll try my best to describe myself, even if it is not an easy task: I'm quite shy but I have no problem in meeting new people. I really like to meet foreigners because we look beyond, everything has a new meaning when meeting someone from a totally different culture.
I have always loved to draw, music (singing and playing the piano) and pretty much everything art related. I hope to someday be able to travel to countries like Spain just to be in any of the buildings that Gaudí designed.
I'm looking for any freelance job related to design (clothing or graphic design) and illustration, because I really love doing that too.
I love foreign food and drinks, and I like to cook my version of a few foreign dishes and sometimes making the drinks too.
I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching a nice movie or playing the piano to spent a quiet afternoon, but I also like going out for dinner, a drink or going to a movie or theater with friends. I'm always up to suggestions!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Like I said above, I think the exchange between cultures enriches the people who participate in this and that is what I want to do the most; have the chance to see life from another culture's perspective, and at the same time, to share mine.

Interests

I enjoy two sides of traveling equally: going to historic places, museums and such and also just walking around a city or town, eating out and talking to locals. I believe that you must do both in order to feel like you've been there!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I visited Petra, in Jordan: I remember walking trough those rock carved corridors just marveling with the passages and the colors of the 'walls' and suddenly getting a glimpse of a rock carved building in pink shades... When I go out of the corridors and saw the amazing Treasure of Petra I was in total awe. It's a 'must see' place and I recommend it to everyone!
When you're in Egypt everything is amazing; visiting the tombs, the temples, the mosques, the museums... To see the things they recovered from ancient times, the colors of a painted wall, the jewels they found in a tomb, the gifts for the dead... It all makes you awe!

Teach, Learn, Share

Like I said above, all kind! I think diversity makes us richer, so bring it up!
I have a very humanist way to see people, the world and life. I've suffered losses from childhood and that had made me a very 'life loving' person... So if you're that kind of person; compassionate, sensitive and respectful for life and others, we will surely get along!
