To Cycle 3000km from Sicily to England!

ABOUT ME

We are two women, Ede and Jade (26 and 28) who have been living in Catania, Sicily for the past two years doing a mix of teaching English and web designing.

We will shortly be embarking on a big cycling trip this July. We have decided to leave Catania for good to return home and are doing the trip by bicycle!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We can host until 1 July here in Catania but after that we will be looking to be guests around Italy, Switzerland, France and England.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have only just become members of couchsurfing but we are members of a similar website, warmshowers, where we've hosted quite a few people and had great experiences.

Intereses

I (Ede) am a really big fan of road bicycles and all things associated. I am at my happiest cycling up a big hill. I'm also into running and have done a few 10ks and a half marathon. I have been teaching English for the past two years but my passion is web/graphic design and am slowly but surely making the transition to this field.

Música, películas y libros

We like lots of films, music and books. Lots of animations, cycling movies and documentaries. Music - electronic, dubstep, breakcore, jazz, blues.

I've been in the audience for Countdown and my arm was on TV. Does that count? Probably not...

We can... teach you how to make British scones! Ede can juggle and is happy to share that extremely useful skill. Any questions about Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML or CSS are welcome.

We'd love to share tips on bike maintenance - it is not our strong point so it would always be good to meet people more skilled in this area!
