I am 25, female and raised in England. Eight months ago I moved from Berlin, Germany to Colombia. Since my first four months in Colombia I have spent been fast travelling around Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Chile. After my final destination of Chile I was ready to settle for a longer period in one country, that country is Mexico. I have been in Mexico for one month and have been living on the caribbean coast. I am now looking to dive deeply into a new environment. I love meeting new people and I feel couchsurfing is the best way to get as close to the real side of Mexico and meet local friends for life.

Interests

How to sum myself up, well. I am a budding photographer and Filmaker- you will see a lot of this (with permission) if I stayed with you. I am also a teacher of English, an education I gained through a CELTA course. I recently spent three months in Santa Marta, Colombia working as a English teacher alongside Foundation goles de Corazon. I am of course a keen traveller- hence the couchsurfing page. New places and new people motivate me, help me grow and inspire me constantly. Politics, philosophy and history are where my deepest though processes lie. Music, Movies, and Books

I grew up alongside Harry Potter and have always loved fantasy of all sorts. Have you heard of the trilogy His Dark Materials? I highly recommend. While travelling I like to absorb the cultural creations of or about the environment I am in. City of God has been my most recent heart throb of a movie. I grew up on rock and roll and punk but having lived in Berlin for the past two years my love of Electronic music has grown and grown. It is a part of me. Techno techno techno :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a hiker and a mountain climber- I feel the amazingness of each achievement can never be truly described and is almost always personal to each climber. Recently I climbed the enormous height of 6088 metres above sea level on the mountain Huayna Potosi (Bolivia)- and climb across glaziers, ice picking and high altitude. Not an easy feat. Another climbing claim to fame is Mount Kilimanjaro (bordering Tanzania and Kenya) which I climbed during my second year of University. I've got pictures!!
