ABOUT ME

My name is Edel, I'm a full blooded Norwegian, and a bad one at that. I've always believed that home is great but the road is even better, love to travel and learn. The Eiffel Tower is cool, but when I go to Paris I like meeting french people, not bathing in a sea of tourists. I want to make a fool out of myself trying to speak french, have a good laugh and browse through the local bookstore in the Latin Quarter. History and language are two of my greater passions, but I'm also interested in learning more about different lifestyles, culture and cuisine. I love learning and I lead a life of sharing. I'm more of the pub than the club type, and would rather read a book than go to a wild rave party. I listen to most kinds of music, add an odd instrument and I'm in love.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently finishing up my last semester of college, and not in the best place to host or guide. However, I do have a large ish apartment and a comfortable couch and air mattress, so you could always hit me up and if it's a good time I'd be happy to have you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a wonderful first experience in Zurich, where I surfed and met with the local CC community as well as visiting couch surfers. Excited to meet more of these wonderful, openminded and welcoming people!
