Hey! Edgar here, I’ve just graduated with a degree from Oxford in ancient languages and literature. Born and raised in the U.K., I’m living in New York and love immersing myself in new cultures. Travelling these last couple of years, I’ve come to realise that it’s the people I meet and the friends I make all over the world that are the most impactful and memory-making part of my trips. I’m very much a people person and am always looking to make friends and find community on my travels and in turn offer hospitality to travelers visiting the U.K. Seeking authentic connections and interesting people.

I love meeting new people and exploring places both on and off the beaten path. Love sharing stories, adventures, and knowledge, with a particular interest in everything historical and cultural (from opera to modern art to museums to sacred spaces and everything in between). I’m a big walker here so always up to spend hours wandering the streets of new places. Also passionate about learning languages (Ancient Greek and Latin are my go-tos but I’m learning French, Italian and Spanish currently, to various levels).
