Hi everyone, My name is Ed! I live in Madrid as an auxiliar de conversacion (english teacher for primary school). I'm originally from Los Angeles California,I attended the university of california Los Angeles. I moved to Madrid January of 2013. I love traveling and I'm always searching for some new experiences and adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

YOUR HEART IS FREE, HAVE THE COURAGE TO FOLLOW IT. Have some empathy. Love and respect the power of the universe. Do not be a victim to ethnocentrism. See things with cultural relativity no matter how different the culture might be from your own. Be a traveler/wanderer not a tourist. Get lost in music. Celebrate and party with the locals! Learn from the past and live for the present, so the future can be bright! I am always the observant participant.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After seeing a bit of the world, I realized Europe and quantum physics changed my perspective on life. I love learning about countries, history, cultures and locals! Im not a big fan of doing the tourist attractions unless they're a "must see" but a good time is always a good time no matter where and I LOVE music!!!

I am new to this but I've heard great things. I am excited to get to know different people from different places.

I hope to see the world through the eyes of the local people everywhere I go. Anthropology, Science, space and I love surfing (waves) and connecting as much as possible with nature. One of my primary passions, other than traveling, is FUTBOL!
