I just finished a masters degree in urban planning at Harvard University in United States. I hold a masters in International Development from the University of Manchester and a degree in economics from Pacifico University in Lima (Peru). I enjoy traveling and meeting people around the world, learning from their culture and traditions. I'm friendly, laid back and love eating out. When possible I mix it up with trekking, photography and outdoors activities. I love classical music and rock and going to the cinema.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great opportunity to meet people, especially locals who can show you hidden jewels in their cities. Thus, locals can change the whole experience and how a city is perceived. I'm also glad to show people around when they visit me in Lima, especially the food scene.

Interests

I am a music geeky, spending hours discovering new bands and going to concerts. I love art (impressionist paintings especially), visiting museums and taking photographs of street life when traveling. I also enjoy dinning out and finding new local joints.

My favorite band is Pearl Jam, followed by Dave Matthews Band and Pink Floyd. I have too many movies on my list: A Separation (Iran), Life of Others (Germany), Amour (France), The Godfather II (US), Mandariinid (Georgia), 2001: Space Odyssey (US), The Secret in their Eyes (Argentine), etc......
I also enjoy reading science fiction (Azimov) and novels (García Marquez, Vargas Llosa).
