COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've crashed on couches in all five continents - sometimes planned, sometimes not. I've had the most wonderful times in the least likely of places (Chicken, Alaska?!) and its all come down to the people that I've met.

Just one?!

The very first time I left Ireland, I flew to Nice, landed late at night, and immediately got on an overnight train to Venice. Woke up baffled and confused, and stumbled out of the station just as the sun rose over the Grand Canal - been hooked on travel ever since. Oh and if you mention the the Grand Canal in your request, you improve your chances of being hosted.
