I am originally from Vilnius, Lithuania, but I currently live in London. A few years ago, I fell in love with travelling and now it's my biggest passion. I enjoy getting to know new places and meeting new people. Being from a small town, I'm always overwhelmed by big cities and variety of amazing people I get to encounter there. I also love taking photos when I travel so I always have nice memories!

I sometimes share my travel expriences on IG as a personal blog. I was also a writer and editor of the travel section of the student newspaper at my uni - it turned out I love writing about my travels as well as reading about other people's experiences so much that I was even considering that as one of my careers options! I currently work in science publishing though as an editorial assistant :)

I want to meet friendly locals and enrich my travelling experience. I also want to save up some money on accommodation so I can spend more of it on actual travelling :) After all, it's more interesting to meet someone new, hang out, and get to know each other instead of just coming back to an empty and expensive hotel room, where you can't share your amazing travel adventures with anyone!

I like popular music, anything you can dance to or sing along. But I also like songs with "deeper" meaning that make you think and also don't just focus on relationships and romantic stuff. It depends on the mood really! I definitely love blasting some of my favourite tunes through the headphones when I'm cycling.

I'm also a huge TV series person, I love GoT, Modern Family, Friends, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

It's so difficult to choose one so here's a few:
1. Moved to London and completed my studies here
2. Cycled in San Francisco and across the Golden Gate Bridge without proper biking skills
3. Hiked in Hollywood Hills to the Hollywood Sign at +35oC , where I took a wrong turn and ended up off the beaten track, but still finished my hike with some of the best memories
4. Backpacked around Scotland by myself
5. Lived the Californian dream for a day by riding to the beaches in a convertible

I am a very friendly person who likes meeting new people. I'll be massively grateful to anyone who will let me stay with them. I can share my experiences of living and studying in London as well as travelling around Europe and the US. I could also cook a meal or two for the kind people who'd welcome me to their homes- though I'm not sure how good my cooking skills are haha! But I can always make some tasty cocktails as I worked in the bar throughout my studies :)
