Overview
About Me
Though I was born in El Paso, Texas, I lived my childhood in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico; thus, my first language is Spanish, but because I lived the rest of my life in El Paso, I am also fluent in English. I have two older siblings (boy and girl) and a younger brother. I am a very curious person, which is to say that I enjoy mentally ingesting what I observe and taking its value for my philosophy drawer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because since I am hitchhiking with my boyfriend around Canada, it was recommended by a friendly man that we came across with to be able to not only travel easily but to also have the social experience of enjoying perhaps a dinner with strangers.
Interests
I like creating, whether it is cooking, writing, painting, sculpturing, drawing or even singing. I like feeding my brain by reading and digesting knowledge but I also like kindling the heart and the mind of the people I come across. I like playing the guitar, the ukelele and singing. I like to make crafts like bracelets and necklaces out of hemp.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like underground music, old school rap, rock n roll, alternative rock, jazz music, the blues and classical music. My favorite book is Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, but I also like the Labyrinth of Solitude by Octavio Paz, The Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and the White Tiger. If anyone wants to recommend a book, I would be happy to read it. My favorite movies are Interstellar and Life of Pi.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have ever done is impacting people with my stories and philosophies. I have opened people’s mind and even made them take a good look in the mirror to change themselves for the better. My greatest achievement has been that, through my own words, I have made someone who was at rock bottom, want to live their life further. I take pride in impacting other people through the thoughts behind my words.
Teach, Learn, Share
I studied Law Enforcement for two years and Culinary Arts for one. I love making and sharing my own philosophies of life, self, friends and the world. I am also currently studying at Texas State University. I love singing and playing instruments for people. I also love making music with people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my philosophies of life and the stories behind them. I can share a Mexican home-cooked meal and a piece of my soul.
