Born and raised in a suburb near Toronto, Canada. Studied Wildlife Biology at McGill in Montreal because I wanted a degree where I could learn by doing- being out in the field is where I thrive. I've always loved being outdoors and have been fortunate to spend much of my life exploring new places. I've always dreamed about doing my Masters in Australia and now that it's a reality, I couldn't be any happier!

I love to rock climb, hike and scuba dive. Climbing up mountains is where I go to forget about all the stress life gives. There's no better view to see the world from!

Anything related to food, and I'm there. I love kale a bit too much it kales me (too hard to pass that one haha!). I tend to eat too much and too fast. My dad's a chef so I grew up pretty spoiled with the best kind of food. I love cooking a meal at home and would be happy to share some recipes and have a cooking session together!

I absolutely adore sea turtles, and have been fascinated by these gentle giants since a young age. I even have a twitter account dedicated to turtle facts! Haha

Love listening to live music and have been fortunate enough to see a fair few of my favourites including Feist, Passion Pit, Half Moon Run, Last Dinosaurs, Of Monsters and Men, Chilly Gonzales, Twenty One Pilots, Stars, Matt and Kim, BOY, Passenger, soley, and Broken Social Scene. Live Jazz is also a big one, I've played the tenor saxophone for a good chunk of my life.
