HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been away from Couchsurfing for a few years due to work and then the pandemic. But now things are opened up I would love to meet up with travelers in my city.

I would love to get into hosting again, but my schedule as a student varies a lot. I will have to get back into it over time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few times, and made some really good friends.
I've only couchsurfed a couple of times, and I would like to do it again.

Interesses

- Meeting new people.
- Good food and good beer.
- Hiking in the mountains.
- Playing: I love anything from hide-and-seek to regular boardgames.
- Pub quizzes.
- Eurovision Song Contest.
- TV and movies, sometimes a book.
- Podcasts.

- I'm not great at remembering what I read, and I don't read as much as I would like.

Sailing Norway-Denmark-Germany-The Netherlands-Belgium-England for 3 weeks to get to the world scout jamboree 2007. That was awesome! :)

Waking up in Vik, Iceland one early morning in 2010 and discovering that there had been a volcano eruption not far from the town.

I can teach you Norwegian, if you're interested. Cooking (vegan) is something I enjoy, so I'm happy to teach you my favorite recipes, Norwegian or international. I'm happy to show you around in Stavanger, if I have the time.

I would love to learn new languages, even just little, useful phrases. I'm really interested in different types of food, so I would love to learn how to cook something from your country. And I always love learning games from other cultures!

Hopefully we could share a lot of laughs, some good food and drinks, and just a really good time!
