In a couple of lines...I finished my master degree this February in Civil Engineering at the University of Trento (Italy) and now I'm searching for a work in this field, in Italy or abroad. In 2014 I spent 7 months studying in Lulea, north Sweden, and 3 months in 2015 to work in the mining field..
I'm an open minded, sunny and extrovers person, talkative (sometimes too much they say)
In love with food (I can't image a world without pasta carbonara and pizza) and obviously with football!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am an open minded person who likes travelling and meeting people from different countries and cultures...I always try to be a smart tourist, visiting the most important seesights and also try to live as a native... I'm here also to get hints about foreing habits, customs, things to do and not to do!

I'm still living with my parents so I can't provide any accomodation for the moment, but I would really like to meet travellers in Verona for a coffee, a beer or a glass of wine =)

Interests

Well, as an italian my first interest is obviously football (yeah, soccer for you americans)...I also do like a lot of other sports but I prefer to watch them on tv rather than playing them...yes, I'm lazy =)
As I wrote before, I am really in love with food, italian of course but not only! I like cooking italian dishes and share them with friends, I am passionate about beers (belgians and germans) and I love drinking a glass of white or red wine chilling out with friends (luckily I live in a renomated wine producer valley).

Other interest are politics, foreign culture and people, history, science and engineering stuff

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a eager reader of novel, especially if about the ancient Roman Empire or the Middle Ages, like Ken Follet's The pillars of earth and World without end =)
My favourite italian writer is Italo Calvino (probably you never heard about him)

Films...I really love watching films..I don't have a favourite actor/actress...Stanley Kubrick is my favourite film director by far, you can't say he wasn't a genious! Other films I like are Guy Ritchie's and Wes Anderson's ones

Music...well, I do listen everything but afro and hardcore. Afro and hardcore no no no and no. Without any doubts, my fav bands are from the 70s: Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin above all. And then Deep Purple, Queen, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Depeche Mode, Muse...Chillout like Buddha bar, Cafe del Mar, classical music, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Mozart

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living close to the Arctic Circle in north Sweden I got the chance to experience the Swedish winter and summer, to take a bath in the baltic sea during the winter, to attend a concert with icy musical instruments in a giant igloo and to ride a dogs sledge =)
I visited amazing places which are completely different to the ones I'm used to live in, like Lofoten Islands in Norway and the wild scandinavian nature..where reindeers are everywhere! I feel lucky to have seen midnight sun in the summer and northern lights in the winter..
