Hey! I’m Eduard, I’m 20 and I am from Russia, but I live in Budapest. First thing that I should mention in 2022 as a citizen of Russian Federation: I am against war and I support brave Ukraine and its brave people! 🇺🇦
As for me, I am a student at the business school. I like to watch and play ice hockey, I like to watch movies (Netflix & Chill) and listen to music, especially french music. As an usual student, I really want to travel, but sometimes there is not enough money for renting a room in hotel or airbnb apartment. That’s why, I hope that the community of Couch-surfing will help me with place to stay, as well as I will help to somebody with host in Budapest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing? Because I believe in the values, that this project share with us. You will help somebody and one day somebody will help you. And, besides, it is very excited! To meet new people, exchange your experience, get familiar with new traditions for you, new languages, new knowledge about this world.

Favourite Music: Post-Punk, Indie, sometimes Techno, Russian Rock, French Music (e.g., Stromae - okay, he is from Belgium, I know :D, Alice et Moi, La Femme, Vanessa Paradis - La Seine, Stereo Total - is it German duet? but they also have songs in French).

Favourite Movies: Tarantino’s Movies (especially, Inglorious Basterds), Elser – Er hätte die Welt verändert, movies with Heath Ledger, Trainspotting, La Haine, The Pianist, The Untouchables, Taxi Driver, The Perfumer, The Pursuit of Happyness.

Favourite Books: 1984, George Orwell and Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury.

It is just regular thing, that we’ve done as anti-war Russians. In the beginning of March we hosted a family from the East of Ukraine.
