About Me

I am an outgoing person! I am always down to go on new adventures and discover new parts of the world and learn more things about me while doing so. Traveling the world has always been one of my many dreams. I like to think that I am from planet earth( well I am but... lol ) not just from the USA or Mexico. I was born in planet earth so therefore I should get to know the planet where I was born.

I was born in the USA but raised in Mexico in the city of Lazaro Cardenas in Michoacan until the age of 13. Then i moved back to the USA and had to learn English as my second language; I thought learning English was super easy so no I am focus on learning Russian first and the Brazilian Portuguese.

I am an okay cook. I can cook Mexican meals and teach how to make them too. I am not an expert at it. The food I cook will never be as good as my mothers cooking. I love learning about new cultures and the ways they do things in their everyday life. I want to learn new ways of cooking foods, making mix alcoholic beverages and learn more languages(even other than Russian and Portugues). I am more than happy to help someone learn English or Spanish OR even both.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing because in the Summer of 2015 I plan on visiting France, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, Italy and Spain. I would love to get in touch with some of the locals and learn their ways and teach some of my ways of living if possible.

Interests

I love: friends, sports, languages, cultures, foods, people, beer and travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to mostly rap in English but I also listen to it in Russian and Portuguese. I listen to pop, rock, rap, mariachi, corridos, salsa, bachata, regeton and many others that I dont pay attention to what kind of music they are. my favorite movie is "the wolf of wall street" I just think it is really funny. I like all the new batman movies too. I do not read much but I did read the book "Catch me if you can" and I loved it!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned English in about a year after I moved to the USA from Mexico. I am sure someone has done it faster but I think that was pretty Amazing. I have also been to Afghanistan with the Army and being here has taught me a lot on how to live my life and appreciate what I already have.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn lots about the Spanish culture and about foods. Also I want to learn their Spanish because I am sure it is a little different than Mexican American Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share endless stories of my life in the USA and Mexico. Teach them to cook some Mexican foods. I can help them practice their English or Spanish OR both of course!
