To improve education and reduce poverty in my country.

ABOUT ME

I'm laid back when I can be and very responsible when I have to be, but always with a good sense of humor. My last job in Peru, my home country, was teaching in a low income community for two years in a program similar to Teach for America. Today I'm working at the University of Maryland thanks to the Atlas Corps fellowship, in which I have met people from all over the world who are dedicated to social causes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept in many different places, in many different positions and levels of comfort. What really matters to me is the situation that takes me to sleep in those places, be it a great night out or a trip to somewhere unknown.

Interests

In my free time I like listening to music from different parts of the world, watching old movies and reading. I also enjoy photography, especially when I'm in new places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have navigated the Amazon and its affluents for more than a week, I have gone to Machu Picchu on a helicopter, have driven in the Andes without seeing a single person for 4 hours, and I know people from every single populated continent in the planet.
