Every day, I try to learn one new thing and make the world a little better than it was before I got out of bed that morning.

ABOUT ME

I am a nerd, a writer, a reader, a law student, a traveler, a movie fanatic, a cook, a feminist, an activist, a knitter, a coffee drinker, a klutz, and a million other things all at once. I also indulge in my filthy habits of cigarettes (although I'm planning to quit after I take the bar) and the occasional alcoholic beverage.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I finally got rid of my uncomfortable futon that has caused back problems for me and any one who has ever sat on it. Now, I have a nice comfy couch available for an individual passing through Lawrence. I also have a very nice queen size air mattress available.

But, I do prefer to host women - no offense to all you guys out there, just a personal comfort thing.

And I also have a cat. So if you have cat allergies, then my couch probably isn't the one for you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been happy to serve as a host and look forward to be being a surfer more in the future when my schedule allows me more time to travel. I am especially grateful for the community that couch surfing provides.
