I'm a 22-year-old newspaper reporter from New Jersey who's ready to start traveling both in and around the U.S. and outside it as well, now that I have a job. Go discretionary income!

I am sarcastic but silly, and always up for adventures/exploring.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just surfing so far since I don't have my own place yet. I should soon though, and can show people the wonders of New Jersey besides just "Jersey Shore."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One week in Paris with two different (yet equally wonderful) hosts.

I love time off to just do whatever I feel like -- walking my dog, hiking, reading, watching endless episodes of "Mad Men" or "The Wire" on DVD, while drinking red wine and eating popcorn, of course.
I love exploring and just driving around aimlessly to find something new or interesting. I like to think I'm a very curious person.
I love racquetball, though I have improved little in the year or so I've been playing it.

Movie theater popcorn has as much fat as 20 hot dogs. I have no idea if this is true, but my dad drilled it into my brain as a child. Somehow, popcorn became my favorite food. Go figure.
