My name is Edvardas. I'm 21 years old. Currently I'm a student in Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and the program is called Entertainment industries. It's all about events, event management, communication, film, music, tourism and other industries.
I am optimistic, high energetic and adventurous.
People call me traveller sometimes, but I'm still afraid of that word. Maybe after the next trip I can myself like this. I'm planing to hitchhike around Europe. I never did such a long trip before, so I'm really curious how it will go.

I have been a host for only one time, but I understood why couchsurfing is so great. To help for a traveler is the best feeling ever!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's easy! Because I adore traveling and I want to make friends, learn or just find something interesting or unusual. And of course for ADVENTURE (I love this word)!

At the university I'm mentor of foreigners who come to Lithuania. I always love to help people when I can do that.
Sometimes even very small help from local person is better then whole internet.

I love indie, rock, alternative, 80's, 90's, pop. But I can listen almost anything and it is really depends from the mood.

Books: Arthur Conan Doyle books, The Fateful Adventures of the Good Soldier Švejk During the World War.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We traveled from Lithuania to Finland by bicycles with my brother. We didn't have good bikes or preparation, but we made it. It was crazy and really fun!

The best thing I did until now, was taking a gap year. I worked as a waiter in Cyprus, volunteering in Portugal and Vietnam, travelled in Iceland and Morroco. This year completely changed my life and understanding about the world.
