Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To appreciate and value every human emotion.
ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Italy, I've spent several years living, working, and studying abroad in places like India, Brazil, and Northern Europe. My passion for cultural exchange also led me to volunteer extensively over the years.
PHILOSOPHY
Forgive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I’m excited to help fellow Couchsurfers explore Verona and maybe even other cities, as I travel often for work. Whether it's offering tips, suggestions, or meeting up in person, I’m always up for sharing a good chat over coffee or wine.
After being very active in the Couchsurfing community for years, I took a break during the Covid era. But now I’m back and eager to reconnect. The feedback on my profile reflects the many amazing experiences I’ve lived with travelers.
Interests
I’m an art enthusiast—painting is my passion, and I have a deep appreciation for design and architecture. When I’m not admiring art, you might find me running, swimming, working out, or kicking a football around (well, that was last year; I’m getting a bit lazy now!).
I’m also into wine tasting and love spending time in cozy coffee shops. Sometimes, I just stare at the moon and stars, letting my dreams take me on a journey.
Kayaking is another adventure I enjoy, and I love exploring new places from the water. My most recent “wow” moment was kayaking through the stunning Ardèche Valley in France—absolutely breathtaking!
Cooking is another love of mine. My signature dishes are, of course, pasta-based (I’m Italian, after all!), but I can whip up a great fish or meat dish too. I also cater to vegetarians and vegans. And yes, I always cook with music playing in the background—it’s my secret ingredient.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1- Eating big toasted ants—because why not?
2- Taking a 3-day train journey across India from south to north, just like in "The Darjeeling Limited" (minus the dramatic family dynamics).
3- Getting lost in the woods at night in -15°C weather—it was like an extreme game of hide and seek!
4- Spending three months in a tiny town of 200 people, providing first aid after an earthquake.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking: I’m passionate about cooking and would love to share a meal with you. But honestly, I’m more excited to learn from you and discover your culinary traditions.
Local Tips & Experiences: I’m happy to share some insider knowledge about exploring Verona and other cities in Italy. Whether it’s hidden gems, local culture, or the best spots for coffee, I can offer a few suggestions.
Cultural Exchange: I’ve been fortunate to experience different cultures, and I love exchanging stories from my travels. But what I truly value is learning about your way of life, traditions, and how you see the world—that’s what makes Couchsurfing so special to me.
My son Valentino is heading to Australia in February for a new adventure, and my other son Victor is about to dive into cyber security studies in Padova. So if you’ve got any tech questions, he’s your guy!
