Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to it, but I've been interested in Couchsurfing since the first time I've heard about it a couple of years ago. Now, in Australia, i figured it's the best time to try it out for myself.

Interests

Sports (esp. football/soccer & tennis), music, movies, reading, guitar. I'm a huge Arsenal (and PL in general) fan.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love music and I listen to pretty much every genre. If I had to pick one out, it would be Rock (Classic, Alternative, Funk) & Hip Hop. My favorite band, by far, is RHCP.
Movies: I pretty much watch everything without many Likes or Dislikes. Favorite movie is The Sting.
Books: Lately, I've been reading a lot of classic literature. My favorite book out of the bunch I read was Gulliver's Travels. I also like (classic) Russian Literature. Newer books which I liked a lot were In Watermelon Sugar and City of Thieves.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm trying to spend 8 months at the other end of the world without much money and a far to heavy backpack - does that count? :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn more about Australian culture and way of life (or, of course, other nationalities if you're no Aussie). I also want to educate myself in this little thing called life, so I'm trying to learn as much stuff from as many people as possible during my time here. I'm sure there are lots of things I can learn from you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show and tell you lots of stuff about Germany or Russia - including the culture, languages and history. Or we can just have a chat about pretty much anything. Also, I just love to sit together and listen to some good music - with the right people, it can be so much fun! I play the guitar too, so maybe we could just jam out? :)
