About Me

I've always loved travelling. Family holidays growing up gave me an appreciation for different cultures, and so I was determined that as soon as I finished school I was going to try and experience as many as I could!

I spent my gap year in Australia, before heading off to Kenya and Tanzania following the completion of my undergraduate degree where I climbed Kilimanjaro and did some volunteer work. In 2015 I cycled from Lincoln to Athens, which took me through France, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzgovenia, Montenegro, Albania, and, finally, Greece. It was on this trip that I was inspired to join the courchsurfing community, as it allowed me to meet new people and experience new cultures in a way like no other!

I am currently studying for a PhD in History at Cambridge University (King's College). It is an incredible city, and so would be happy to host anyone who wishes to come and visit. Unfortunately my study and research commitments means that I can't always guarantee I will be available, although I will do my best.
