Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Edward Wonder Osim a Nigerian traveler, storyteller, cyclist, and documentary creator. I travel across cities, towns, and rural communities in Nigeria (and beyond), telling positive and authentic stories about places, people, culture, history, food, and infrastructure.
My mission is simple: to show the world the beauty of Nigeria and Africa through my lens, inspire movement, and challenge narratives about our cultures. I cycle across cities, explore ancient kingdoms, experience festivals, visit palaces, eat street food, and document hidden gems that people often overlook.
I love meeting new people, learning about communities from the grassroots, and exchanging perspectives on culture, travel, and development.
PHILOSOPHY
Leave places better than you found them: physically, emotionally, socially
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I couchsurf to connect with real people, not just tourist brochures. I want to learn about cities through locals—how they think, what they eat, how they live, and what stories their streets hold. I'm also traveling more internationally and want to tell genuine stories that come from staying with people, not hotels.
Couchsurfing helps me build relationships, spark collaborations, and understand culture from a human perspective.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I cycled across major Nigerian cities (including Lagos to Ibadan and up mountain terrains like Obudu Resort), documenting landscapes, culture, and the daily lives of people who traverse these routes, turning the journeys into inspiring visual stories.
