I'm an avid traveler who has been fortunate to visit over 100 countries and every state. I spend much of my time traveling to Hawaii, California, and Central America. I'm blessed to have homes in all 3 locations and enjoy sharing them with friends and family. I would welcome any couchserfer at any of my homes, it only depends on my schedule.
The best part of traveling is when I get to connect with friends that I have known for many years. I also enjoy making new friends.
I have a passion to help motivate, encourage, and support people who are trying to achieve great things in life. For me, nothing feels more rewarding and wonderful than to help people achieve their dreams! I also like helping school children in Guatemala, serving the homeless in Hawaii (wish I knew a solution for them), and donating my time to help those that need help.
I would enjoy meeting other nice, friendly, kind, and interesting people who share the passion of travel and living life.

- My Philosophy of life -

I'm right on board with Confucius's teaching that "our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we do." We're all human, and if we help each other out, we can discover untold hidden strengths and talents.

- My Philosophy of travel -

Robert Lewis Steven's said it best with, "For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move." I find my great love affair is to move and visit new places, old places, and exploring most anywhere.

It is my goal to always travel light. Now, if I need a tux for a special occasion then traveling light goes out the baggage compartment. "When preparing to travel, lay out all your clothes and all your money. Then take half the clothes and twice the money". – Susan Heller

I like travelers and not so much into tourists. However, I can play a great tourist now and then. "A tourist is a fellow who drives thousands of miles so he can be photographed standing in front of his car." – Emile Ganest. I think Emile made that comment before selfies became so popular.

- My philosophy on relationships and travel -

I often tell young men and women if they want to get to know someone before getting married take them on a trip to exotic locations. Just recently I learned that Mark Twain also believed this with his quote, "I have found out that there ain't no surer way to find out whether you like people or hate them than to travel with them".

I want to connect with interesting people who also love traveling and exploring the world. I would enjoy meeting and connecting with like minded souls who understand the passion for travel.
I'm still trying to figure this Couchsurfing concept out. If possible I would enjoy meeting up with a couple of people who have done this before so I can understand it a little better.
I hope I need to update this part of my profile very shortly and can give more information on my experiences and connections.
