About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I've always wanted to become an actor, so I've decided to move to LA to follow my personal legend of becoming an actor.

ABOUT ME

They'd call me a prankster and someone who always has to laugh. They'd probably say I'm always traveling and on the move. My response to that is what's the next adventure, I'm ready to go now. I enjoy eating good and drinking good. I've traveled the world and have been exposed to many cultures. When I travel I can't deny smiling at other people because it's infectious and good vibes get sent my way. Different friends know me on different levels, they might call me an intellectual thinker who's a good friend that gives good advice or a dogmatic, opinionated son of a bitch that is just stupid competitive. I think at the end of the day I'd like to think I'm just a normal guy who wants to laugh and smile just like the rest of the people who want to live a happy life.

PHILOSOPHY

Respect the mystery of life rather than having other people define the world you live in. Resist the temptation of letting other people define who you are then you will gradually let the sun inside of your soul shine forth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you scratch my back I will scratch yours ten fold. I'd like to think I'm a selfless person but you can't know for sure until you sit down with me and have a beer. I guess Ill leave that time for the future. I joined Coach Surfing to meet some great people, be a great host/guest and to create a friendship even if we never see each other again. To me life and relationships are supposed to be synergistic and positive. In a case where things get rough I try to be diplomatic. I am a clean person and I always clean up after myself. I always clean my dishes after I cook and don't mind doing them as long as it works both ways. I will be the first person to say I enjoy cooking dinner as long as I get help in the kitchen. Teamwork is the name of the game.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent a 6 weeks in Cusco, Peru in a family hostel with 10 other volunteers from England, Brazil, Australia, Canada. The hostel was provided by IVHQ International Volunteer Headquarters and I had the most amazing time with a group of people I now call friends. When I studied abroad in Seoul, South Korea I was apart of an exchange program and I made friends with people from France, Netherlands and Norway. The next year I traveled to see my friends from study abroad and spent three week with them in their homes. I had an amazing time being abroad.

Interests

I love athletics and enjoy competing playing any sport. Anything I can pick up, hit or throw I will. I played quarterback, pitched and ran the 4x200 in high school. I'm a brother of Pi Kappa Alpha. I like to play golf when I can. I enjoy grabbing the links on the weekend and playing a few rounds. I hardly watch tv but when I do the only thing I regularly watch is football and golf. Every morning I have to get some PT in. To say I can eat all day is an understatement I love to eat and making sure I wash it down with a ice cold brew is a necessity. My father was an Airborne Ranger in the Army so he showed me how to love the great outdoors. I am liable to pack my bags at anytime for a couple days and disappear to clear my mind to be with Ma-nature. My mother was a business women so in contrast I enjoy sitting at the table with friends, talk story of the day and have a few glasses of wine. One of her hobbies was architectural and interior design so I have to admit I have a good eye when it comes to looking at things from scratch and seeing a finished product. I have traveled quite a bit in my 24 years and have been exposed to a lot of different cultures. I can't think of any better way to live life than traveling the world, immersing oneself into their culture, seeing their beautiful art and people and be able to laugh, eat and drink with locals or whomever I meet on my journey. I love music, who doesn't right? Music is everything to me it is what keeps me driven and going during the day. I love listening to Rock N Roll, Classic Rock and Blues Rock. I love great guitar solos and drummer solos.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite author is Paulo Coelho. His books give me my inspiration. Reading feeds the mind, heart and soul what it has not yet experienced.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been blessed to have two great parents who loved me and showed me what the world was like. My mother taught me working hard and making great impressions on people get you to where you want to be and self discipline is the key. My father taught me always chase your dreams but make sure you have fun while doing it. They've always told me if you love your career you will never have the duty of working because your work will make you and the people closest to you happy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy meeting and learning from people who have a story to tell. By that I mean everyone with an open mind because we all have our own story to tell in our own narrative. I enjoy teaching and sharing my experiences of traveling the world and seeing unique parts of the world. I enjoy listening and learning from people who are smarter than me.
