ABOUT ME

Greeting to all

PLEASE NOTE - I'M IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING TO IRONBRIDGE IN SHROPSHIRE AND WILL BE ABLE TO HOST HOPEFULLY EARLY IN THE NEW YEAR 2014; NO SPACE TILL THEN THOUGH SORRY. I've travelled and worked overseas a fair bit over the years (I work as a doctor), but have been more static for the past decade. The travelling bug is biting again and I'd love to spend some time working in Africa next.

Interests

I do a lot of running and walking and particularly welcome fellow runners who want to stay. My house is next to Offa's Dyke, the ancient English/Welsh border that is now a long distance footpath, and lots of walkers pass by on a regular basis.
I'm also very interested in cooking (don't eat meat), although very slow. Cakes and espresso are a particular passion.
I also go on Buddhist retreats from time to time and - horror of horrors - don't possess a TV set, although I do watch a lot of "arthouse" cinema.
