Hi! My name is Edwin, but you can call me Ed. I'm a very open-minded, positive, funny, flexible and easy going person who is always open to learn, try new things and improve whatever I can influence.

As a Clinical Psychologist, my life mission is to help people find purpose in their lives. My personal philosophy is to become the best version of myself, so I try to get better today than I was yesterday. And I believe I can have fun in this process! :D

I really like to have good moments with friends, nice conversation and laughing, eat/drink well and listen to good music.

I think money is a tool, not an end in itself. There are far more important issues in life than the cycle working-earning-spending.

I have Brazilian and Swiss citizenship.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I especially love rock (most part of its genres) and it's what I listen to most of the time. My favorite band is Foo Fighters! But I also like many other types of music, like classical music, blues, jazz, samba, hip hop, electronic music, etc.

Movies: I like almost all kind of movies and also like documentaries a lot. My favorite movies are "Matrix" and "Fight Club". My favorite series are "Game of Thrones" and "The Walking Dead".

Books: I don't use to read fiction. Most part of the books I read is about Psychology, Sociology, History, biographies or business. But I have one great fiction book I like to recommend: "Ensaio sobre a Cegueira" (Blindness), by José Saramago.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm a Clinical Psychologist. I use to listen and do amazing things every week when I'm working. I feel I'm a privileged person, because I can be a important part of others lives.

But still talking about my carreer, I believe it was an amazing thing to become a Psychologist as a second graduation and profession, after 10 years as an Information Technology Specialist and Project Manager, starting a whole new carreer from the zero.
