Hola! My name is Edy 🌴 I’m a Mexican guy who loves discovering the world, learning how life is in different countries, and connecting with people from all walks of life. I’m a big believer in freedom and one of my personal mantras is “sharing is caring.” I try to bring good energy everywhere I go.

The main reason I host is because I traveled through Europe and so many amazing people opened their homes and hearts to me. Their kindness made my trip unforgettable, and now I want to give that back. I’ve always loved hosting and making others feel welcome, so Couchsurfing feels like the perfect way to continue that cycle of generosity.

I’m very easygoing and people usually feel comfortable around me, as if we’ve known each other for a long time. I like to explore without strict plans, just going with the flow and letting places surprise me.

As a host, I can offer recommendations on what to see in Mérida, my favorite food spots, and local things you shouldn’t miss. I’m usually free in the mornings, so we can hang out, bike around the city, grab a coffee, or explore together. And on my days off, I’m happy to take you to the beach and show you some beautiful places nearby.

I love all kind of music but my favorite genre is Reggae, my favorite band is Cultura Profética. I also love Salsa, Rock, Bossa-nova, Son Cubano and Reggaetón.
For books and movies I don’t have an specific taste but I’m picky, it’s hard for me to find some I like but when I do I enjoy it a lot
