ABOUT ME

I'm not good at describing myself! I'm openminded, happy(usually) and helpful, as everyone in CS.

I'm also "direct, laidback and unboring"(yes, un-boring; not exciting!) but I think I'm those things mostly in Finnish! Sometimes my average English skills makes me a little bit too shy in company. I wish I had energy to improve my English - until this day I have mainly learned it on my travels.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to do things that I experience good and right, no matter if they are allowed or not(usually they are!).
I want to get over the bad times without bitterness, admit when I'm wrong and try to learn from other people how they are managing in this absurd and interesting world.

Please note that our home is a meat free zone. Don't be afraid, we are not hard-ass vegetarians who love to moralize every meat-eating human being - we just decided that because we don't eat meat ourselves, we don't have to see dead animals in our house at the hands of someone else.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Right now(reading, listening, watching, reading again...): Italo Calvino, PJ Harvey, Aki Kaurismäki, Joann Sfar, Kaija Papu, Aino Louhi.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Dancing through night at Oxfordshire, watching the moon rising and forgetting to be a human being. It was an eco-village between Oxford and Reading and the music was some dirty hippie-music but it worked at that night very well :)

Cycling fixie through Eastern-Berlin's night and my friend skateboarding by my side, at times grabbing my arm and taking and giving a free rides. We were very fast and quite wasted.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

You can almost always ask me to: hang around and check the interesting places with you, listen to your worries/problems and irritatingly try to solve them, play board games, help with the food(making and eating), wash the dishes and collaborate with all kinds of projects(you just have to tell/show me what to do).

-and I may almost any time ask you to do the same things :)
