Among my favorites: The Strokes, Vampire Weekend, Sublime, Coldplay, U2, Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie, Bob Marley, Ra Ra Riot, The Kooks, Fun., Jack Johnson, Weezer, Juanes, Carlos Santana, Passion Pit, The Airborne Toxic Event, Los Lobos, Blitzen Trapper, Switchfoot, Jason Mraz, Band of Horses, Kings of Leon, and Portugal. the Man
As for movies, I'll always go for a comedy over pretty much everything else - Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure is a highly underrated movie! Also love The Science of Sleep, Love Actually, pretty much every chick flick, the Bourne Identity, The Motorcycle Diaries, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Wedding Crashers, and anything with Gael Garcia Bernal
