ABOUT ME

I love life, and live like I have 16 days in 24 hours :)
Work hard, play a lot, don't waste time on sleeping in or watching TV.
Work:
I own 2 businesses (one organising yogaholidays & healthretreats and one in marketing & projectmanagement) and I'm always in for inspiring new business ideas.

Play:
Dancing: salsa, zouk, tango
Music: going to concerts AND playing guitar, piano or sing with friends
Sports: rockclimbing, outdoor activities, kitesurfing, paragliding, diving, riding my motorbike
But also: yoga, meditation, raw food

Ideal days:
Summer Saturday: wake up with sunrise, do an hour of yoga, head into Amsterdam to eat THE best apple pie at the Noordermarkt (organic market), shopping at The Jordaan´s funny vintage shops, organise a spontaneous BBQ at the Amsterdamse Bos, see a free outdoor movie at the Westergas and stay there for the best oldschool disco DJ´s and dance untill the morning. Or move to Cantinero for some high level Salsa dancing.
Sunday afternoon: take the motorbike to the beach or picknick at the Vondelpark, bring a guitar, a frisbee or kite, some wine and friends

PHILOSOPHY

Beauty is everywhere, in everything and everybody. Be curious, be optimistic and be open. Let go of concepts, expectations and judgements. And there you find real happiness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently living in my campervan, at a farm located 15 mins from Amsterdam's citycentre. No extra couch available unfortunately, but the farm owner will let you pitch your tent for a small fee. I´m happy to show ´the real´ Amsterdam to those who are not interested in coffeeshops and redlight districts.
