ABOUT ME

On the whole I'm a really laid back guy who's just here to enjoy what the world has to offer and give back as much as possible in return. I enjoy meeting new people and engaging in deep conversations so that I may gain more perspective on the world we live in and all the things that dwell upon it.
In my spare time I enjoy surfing the web for educational material, watching movies, working out, reading books, playing online and occasionally fooling around with my synthesizer trying to compose something.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have any dogmas, which are absolute beliefs, I have mostly catmas, which are relative meta-beliefs. This is how I try to maintain an open mind to new ideas and I always try to withhold judgement so I may first better understand people and phenomena instead of judging things by their appearance and some unrelated factors determined by past personal experience. I try to rely on scientific methods of evaluation in building and reassessing my world view at any given moment.

TL;DR: I'm cool. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed once thus far, and it was a really quite awesome!
The setting was pretty exotic as we stayed in an abandoned office building where our host was living.

Interests

People, food, music (all kinds), movies, books, working out, going fast, taking it slow, drinking tea, writing, composing, chilling, snoozing, trying to communicate with people, constantly and consciously altering my perception of things by means of borrowing differing or even contradictory points of view and attempting to create a synthesis to broaden the spectrum and coverage of my own reality-tunnel. One of the things I enjoy most is talking about the Venus Project and the possibility of a resource-based economy to people who are willing to learn about a new approach to solving problems common to us all.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn to get along with yourself, be your very own best friend and you will find that you'll generally become less of an asshole to those around you as well. I guess.
Also, try to outgrow the blame game, as this is based on one of the greatest fallacies regarding human nature. Nobody out there is to be blamed for their behavior. People simply respond to events based on their background, life experiences, culture and upbringing. There are no good or bad people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Insights into the lawful processes which shape human behavior, values and cultures, and a new point of view for building a more constructive attitude toward our fellow human beings, our natural environment and society-as-a-whole.
