I'm really into art and science. A wee bit nerdy, but laid back and I also love to be spontaneous and have fun. I'm American, but I grew up in Japan.

Very excited to see more of the world and meet more travelers. I've lived in America and South Korea, and I have been living in Japan for the last 9 years. I went to undergrad for Biology and Studio Art in Boston, which I loved! Now I'm in Chicago getting my Master's in Medical Illustration.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I opened my couchsurfing account when I was 18 and backpacking alone in Europe during the summer. I have only couchsurfed twice so far ( Nice and Toulouse), but both times were fantastic! I really enjoyed sharing stories with my hosts and getting to learn things about the town that I wouldn't have known! They have been very pleasant experiences. :D

Since then I've done less travelng alone, so haven't had a chance to couchsurf, but I'm excited to seek out the experience again!
