Hello I am Efe! Its been almost 20 years last I used this app and it sure brings back memories. I am a graphic designer originally from Turkiye, Istanbul. I am currently living in Vancouver, WA. I love photography, visual arts, cooking food, hikes and discovering new places, and hopefully getting back on traveling new locations with cool people. I know 3 languages including English, Turkish and German. I am very chill person in nature and open to go down deep conversations with the people I hang out.

I moved to USA 10 years ago from Istanbul to complete my masters degree in the lovely city of San Francisco. After graduating I have moved to Los Angeles and started working on a social justice design agency. 3 years ago me and my partner decided to move to Portland, Oregon to change our lives.

All my life I was on the move because of the nature of my dad, he was a fighter pilot in the air force which made us move a lot! I guess traveling and meeting like minded people are in my roots!

I want to meet and host new people, and hopefully start traveling the globe back again! I was working very hard the past 15 years non stop, which I love deeply, and I traveled outside my country to achieve my goals, however while working hard I let my self become grounded and forgot communicate with the outside world. Also my wife who has inspired me to join back again to couchsurfing was a big part of this decision.

I am a big rocknroller and music lover in general. Last year I started collecting records, love going to live shows or concerts when possible, so if you have anything in mind let me know!

Since the start of this year I also got back on reading more books, recently I am reading books about philosophy and travel.

I also love movies and Tv shows when I have time!

Because of my dad being a pilot, I also have a big passion on aviation, planes and hopefully one day becoming an amateur pilot my self.

One big life dream of mine was having a dog in my life and 5 years ago when I was living in Los Angeles, I adopted my pup and since then that was one of the most loving amazing thing I have done.

I have a small car and I can pick my new friends up if transportation is a issue, I personally know how challenging it gets when you land after a long flight to a new city and dont know where to go or what to do!
I also like cooking food and sharing it with my guests, its a traditional part of my roots.
We can also go around the city to bars restaurants and cool locations.
