Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i'm a rather new couchsurfing member. it was introduced by a friend of mine. she did travel around Europe during this summer vacation and this incident has made me stunned, mainly because i was surprised that where is her courage came from? doesnt she afraid of sleeping in a stranger's house? however, after talking to her and asking her opinion about the whole couchsurfing journey experiences, she told me that it's a complete different experience of travelling. moveover, she did mention sbout the helpfulness and firendliness of the members who hosted her. i was so envy about the whole journey. thus, i decided to give it a try for my coming Europe trips these few months.

looking forward for the couchsurfing in Europe again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i'm a rather fresh participant in this circle, i guess. i did three times couchsurf when i was in europe (Cologne, Oslo & Amsterdam), still i'm missing those days and planning to go for my couchsurfing in other places in near future.

Up to this moment, I've hosted 5 times in time lesser than 2 months (not bad huh?! haha). I should name it as Season I: June 2009 ~ August 2009, :) and the warmest guests are:

~ 1 Milano
~ 2 Czech Republikans
~ 1 Czech Republican
~ 1 Israeli
~ 1 Russian

that's all i can say... for now :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

- i do enjoy outdated movies screened on TV channel

- a lot, pop musics, american top 40s and basically most of the ColdPlay's songs. I do like classical musics (well, sometimes).

- still searching. dont have any specific favourite book though :(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Norway. it's such a beautiful country which retains it's very valuable natural environment in all ways.

- Singapore. lively modern Asian city - typical urban lifestyle, starting to like it since the very day I came here, good huh?!

- Malaysia, lovely country and lovely people. you would definitely fall in love with this country the second you're exploring the country. nature/city/villages/islands/jungle/twin towers/....
