ABOUT ME

i really find it hard to descripe myself... i love what i do, which is teaching and researching political sciences and feminist perspectives. for me, the best way to spend an evening is meeting with friends, discussing about philosophical and political stuff, having a glass of wine or two... or relaxing with coffee, cigarettes and an interesting book.
the other part of my life is probably travelling, although i'm right now more into rather living in foreign countries (especially latin america) than travelling. about the rest i guess you will have to find out by yourself

i already surfed one couch or another, which have been all the way through great experiences! and hosted quite some times as well, which i still would love to expand... so come visit!

Interests

as already mentioned above, i can not live without learning more about the world. since a fey years, my basic interests are the economical-political-social situation of latin america, feminism and over all political and philosophical theories. but of course, i do have a life beyond the written world... i love to travel, to get deeply into new cultures (and eventually learning new languages). spending time with my friends, whether for a chat or cooking together, whether to go out. so to say: enjoying life the way it passes by. i think, one should take what life accidentally offers...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

first thing that comes to my mind is an experience i made in nicaragua. i saw some enormous turtles climbing up the beach, digging a deep hole just with their feet, laying about a hundred eggs into, reclosing the hole and then - finally and completely exhausted - making their way back to the sea. absolutely amazing!!
