CURRENT MISSION

Well, let's see; I am a relatively healthy person who likes to ride my bike in the summer and surf my couch in the winter ;). I like meeting new people and helping others.

ABOUT ME

I am quite social, except in the early mornings. :P
I do not smoke, and I don't drink often.
I have 2 birds, who fly around freely in the apartment. They will land on you, guaranteed. If you are afraid of or allergic to birds, this place is not for you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the summer of 1994, I rode my motorbike around the USA. I was offered several places to stay, and I really enjoyed the experience. Especially one, in North Carolina. I was riding along, on this beautiful secondary highway, the sunlight was filtered through a canopy of trees and there was a small river near the road. I stopped at a place where people were embarking on river rafts, and I met a really nice couple. They offered me their guest house for the evening! I was so surprised and touched by their kindness. They even took me out for dinner and introduced me to some of their friends. We had a very nice evening, and they recommended a neat place for me to stop and check out called Field of the Woods. It was a funny place.
That experience, and others during that trip, is what induced me to offer my sofa :)

Interests
