Hey guys! My name's Efim.

I used to dance and music is my middle name. I play the guitar, sing a bit and I used to organise Sofar Sounds gigs.

I really enjoy a good talk, but sometimes it might be hard for me to stop :)

I grew up in Russia and during the last 4 years, I lived in 5 different countries and I don't feel like that's enough.

Sightseeing is good, but people are better. Nothing can tell about local life better than the locals themselves.

Interessi

I love music. I play the guitar and sing a little bit. I organised many gigs in my hometown and I was a city leader for Sofar Sounds Yekaterinburg.

I'm also a big football fan. I'm not that good at sports myself, but I love cycling and consider bicycles to be the best transport ever invented.

I like history and geography as well and I'm a bit of a map geek.

Musica, film e libri

I like acoustic music, indie, rock and occasionally pop. From Ed Sheeran and Tom Odell to Ozzy Osbourne and Megadeth. One of my favourite musicians, though, is Tommy Emmanuel.

The movie number one for me is 'Back To The Future' as it brings me back to my childhood. I also love films like 'Manchester by The Sea' or 'Fargo' and I just adore Wes Anderson's stuff!

I wouldn't say I have a favourite book, but I do like Russian classics like Dostoyevsky and Tolstoy.

I can teach basics in several languages, some music and if you're into it, Russian folk dancing.

Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa

I can share a lot of stories about many different countries and places over a glass of tea, beer, wine or whatever else. I can't cook very well, but I can find some good Russian recipes and we can try to do it together, although the good mood is the best thing that I carry with me and can share with you :)
