Born and raised in beautiful Chicago, I studied abroad 14 years ago in Paris, and fell in love,... with Europe ! Upon graduating, I moved back to Paris for 3 more years, taught English, got my Masters, and in 2014 I moved to Spain, where I have been living ever since, olé !

I'm an outgoing, open-minded, social butterfly who loves meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, and trying new things. I’m full of positive energy, and have an insatiable desire for learning :)

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet open-minded travelers like myself, who would like to have a cultural exchange. My current living situation makes it difficult to host surfers, but I am more than happy to hangout with couchsurfers who are visiting Madrid. When I couchsurf at someone else's home, I am not looking for a free place to sleep, au contraire, I enjoy spending time with my hosts, getting to know places and appreciate cultures that are different than my own, through the eyes of locals.

Through Couchsurfing, I have had amazing experiences getting to know some of the most genuine, kind hearted, and hospitable people in the world. I am constantly in awe at the plain goodness of the people I meet, and I am super pumped about the great people I have yet to meet throughout the world :)
