at the moment and the past years I've been spending a lot of my time learning things, trying to be more aware of problems in society and less of a dope with regard to other people. this is why for example I'm part of a small group in my area that's trying to contribute to struggles for the right's of refugees in Germany.

I like to meet friends for cooking, discussing, going out and I definitely like to travel and be away for a while (have had some great interrail trips through Italy, Greece and France though unfortunately back then I didn't know couchsurfing yet) and if none of that is at hand I can do very well with a good movie or a book...zzz...zzzz..zzzzz
I really like these things, but I guess most I like working with people to get rid of some of the stuff that keeps on harassing people in this and other places.

I like a lot of older movies, but some more recent ones are: biutiful, pride, les invisibles (french documentary), night on earth, etc. music I enjoy: alt-j, the dodos, tocotronic, bon iver, the xx and some calm electro stuff that I never remember. books I really liked: steinbeck, arjouni, and most things by murakami and (maybe my favorite right now) the dispossessed by le guin.

the range of impressive skills I possess isn't very impressive (no music instruments, cannot skate, cannot even whistle) but I like most people and like to learn from them.
