Music, Movies, and Books

Enormous fan of jazz and Blues. I am always looking to broaden my knowledge of artists and styles but some of my favourites are Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke and Sarah Vaughan.

Being a cinematographer I absolutely love movies. Some films that are important to me are: Leon The Professional, Princess Mononoke, E.T, Edward Scissorhands, Before Sunrise, Oh Brother Where Art Thou and Waterloo Bridge.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While filming a documentary in New Zealand I had the opportunity to do a ‘Cold Water Immersion’ at Milford sound. Swimming in the fiord, with fish, seals and sharks was one of the most unexpected and breath taking experiences of my life.
