make people smile
I am curious to see the world and to meet new people. I love to experience cultural differences (and of course similarities) and by that understand people who live under completely different conditions or follow another way of living. I am open-minded and always (be sure) in a good mood.
Show real interest in the people you are around with and you will make them feel alive!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
hosting and surfing.
very positive so far, so I'd love to have more guests around.
I love nature, hiking and to do sports, I am a freelance film-maker and journalist, I love listening to music and watching movies and of course getting to know new people.
Music, Movies, and Books
lots of movies: a.o. Life is beautiful, Everything is illuminated, Dancer in the Dark, Dogville, Waltz with Bashir, Coffee and Cigarettes, LotR, films by Tarantino and Burton, and I must confess every movie where zombies, werewolves or vampires are around - not the Twilight crap but rather the bloody stuff ;-)
literature about other cultures, politics, history, i.e. The Storyteller's Daughter (Sara Shah), The King, the Wise Man and the Fool - The Great Tournament of Religions(Shafique Keshavjee)
all kinds of music, esp. classic rock (oh I love Eric Clapton), ska, jazz, OST
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
New Zealand road trip with a lot of filming for my first longer documentary film (Oh Man, NZ is awesome for footage and good interviews!)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to share wonderful Freiburg with you, I could give you some insight into filming and editing, I'm a passionate cook but I always love to get new inputs. Apart from that I really like to improve my juggling skills - so if you know how to throw the balls or clubs, show me!
