About Me
My husband and I moved to Vietnam in 2017 and are absolutely enjoying our experience on this side of the world. We've now settled in Dalat, Vietnam, but do tend to travel often to surrounding places.
We are lighthearted, friendly, and so so so clean and tidy. Besides cooking and eating, we spend our time traveling, hiking, exercising, practicing yoga, studying Vietnamese, relaxing, and generally living the life we love.
Our food journey is always evolving but currently we eat mainly a plant-based whole food diet. I'm inspired to cook the most delicious, fresh, healthy meals and of course lots of desserts derived from bananas, cocoa, and peanut butter. My latest creation is homemade chocolate and vegan black bean brownies.
My husband and I came together originally by our passions for caring for the earth and practicing the "3R's" "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle". We always try to prevent waste when we can by avoiding single-use plastic straws and plastic water bottles. We even travel with our zero-waste kit: reusable shopping bags, metal straws, glass takeout boxes, and refillable water bottles. While we are not even close to perfect, we do try to be mindful of our environmental impact.
