Hello I’m an American solo traveler looking to see different parts of Europe! I’m currently studying chemical engineering at The Ohio State University but I’m on summer break. I have one more year of school and I have no idea what I want to do after.

I enjoy spending time in nature, especially the beach. I love hiking, biking, running, swimming, and just being outside. I really like watching sunrises and sunsets :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I’m on Couchsurfing to meet other travelers and find places to stay on a budget. I like to switch between CS, staying at hostels, and Workaway for variety during my longer backpacking trips. I’m not really using CS as a dating app.

I want to travel the world, try new foods, and learn about different cultures. I like to learn how other people live and want to experience as much as I can.

I am a long distance runner (7x half marathoner). I’ve been running for over a decade and competed in high school cross country and track.

My favorite artists are Goth Babe, Glass Animals, Billie Eilish, Lorde, and Ritt Momney. I really enjoy most kinds of music.

I don’t usually like movies but some of my favorite shows are Grey’s Anatomy, This is Us, Gilmore Girls, and New Girl.

My favorite book is The Catcher in the Rye but I loved Harry Potter as a kid. Recently, I’ve read My Body by Emily Ratajkowski and I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jeannette McCurdy. I related to both a lot and even reread them, which I rarely do.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I backpacked for three months in Ecuador. My plan was to study abroad while at university but it didn’t work out with my coursework and finances. Instead I did different Workaways in between traveling. It was my first solo trip and now I’m addicted to traveling

I’m fluent in English and would be happy to practice it with someone.

I know German from high school but it’s definitely not conversational anymore. I learned some basic Spanish while traveling in Ecuador. I want to get more comfortable with German or Spanish.

I am a clean person and easy going. I also love to cook and bake, and will happily do that for you. I have been vegetarian since 2019 but I have not found this to be an issue for sharing a meal with others 🌱🌱🌱
