Hello everyone!

My name is Eileen, I´m 18 years old and I live in Neustadt, a little town in Thuringia (Germany). Even though it might sound boring, my region has a lot of interesting places to offer. In summer we often go swimming, and in winter it´s a lot of fun to go sledging and skiing.
In my freetime I volunteer at the animal shelter. There I take a few dogs on walks to help those broken souls with trusting humans again. I also love to draw, paint and read. My biggest obsession is probalby Postcrossing, I always freak out when there´s a new piece of mail in my mailbox.

Currently I´m still in school and hope to pass my A-levels next year. After that i would like to study, but the big question ist what exactly .

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I just recently discovered Cochsurfing and I´m very surprised that I haven´t heard about it earlier. I love to interact with new people and learn about their personalities, but often nobody is available to travel with me., that´s why it´s a great opportunity to visit new places without being just on my own.

I love to watch movies and series, currently my pick is Breaking Bad and Sherlock. Reading is also a lot of fun, my favourite genres are Fantasy, Horror or Thriller and my favourite writer is Stephen King.
